Los Angeles based meditative pop ensemble Sonoda has released a new short film titled Here We Are Now. The visual project was written, recorded and filmed by band members Lisa Sonoda and Adrian Garcia and includes a series of live performances and ambient scenes inspired by meditation and harmony. The project was originally commissioned as a live set for Coaxial Arts Foundation’s live stream summer series and has since been expanded upon for wider release in hopes of “bringing peace and light to as many people as possible.” Sonoda’s last full-length album, Karaoke Life, was released in 2018.
